Xamfrà › Beta programme
Try Xamfrà with the questions from your job
What you will find
- Access to the viewer in testing. 192 thematic views of the 36 AMB municipalities, in Catalan and English.
- All the tools. Planning, crossings of two datasets, area cards in PDF and exports in PNG and CSV.
- Direct line to the team. We fix the errors you tell us about, and the questions you ask may end up as new views.
What we ask of you
- Use it for real, with a real question from your territory or your job.
- Tell us what happens: what is not understood, what fails or what you miss, with a screenshot if possible.
- A short conversation at the end of the trial to find out what you think.

Frequently asked questions
Which data does the viewer use?
Official and open data: INE, ICGC, Generalitat de Catalunya, AMB, Barcelona City Council, transport operators and OpenStreetMap. Each view states the source, the year and the limits of the data.
Can I use my own data in it?
At this stage the viewer only shows public data. If you have your own, we can talk: preparing and publishing it is one of Damos en el Blanco’s services.
Which territory does it cover?
The 36 municipalities of the Barcelona metropolitan area, with their 2,151 census sections. Madrid and New York are already there as pilots, with fewer sources.
Which languages does it work in?
In Catalan and English.
Is it an official publication?
No. It is a prototype in testing: every figure has a source and a date, but it does not replace the official publications of the bodies responsible for them.
